https://horizone-graphics.com.pl/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/horizone_studio_osiedle-EKOPARK-sosnowieckaL-2500x1500-1.jpg25001500The conceptual design of the EKOPARK housing estate at Sosnowiecka Street in Cracow was made as part of an investor competition by invitation. The plot planned for the investment has an area of about 2.1 hectares, and its center is currently overgrown with a belt of stately trees, which in Horizone Studio’s design became the main green compositional axis of the estate’s urban design. An MPZP is being prepared for the area, which imposed sloping roofs on the buildings. The main idea was to create an estate that, in addition to its residential function, offers its residents additional value – a high-quality, attractive common area. Along a row of existing tall trees, we proposed green areas, pedestrian and bicycle paths, separated from the peripheral road system. This made the windows of most apartments face these green areas.
